General Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Bristol Chauffeur Cars. All business between clients and Bristol Chauffeur Cars Ltd is a transaction based on the terms and conditions defined here on this website. When any client places an order the assumption, therefore, is that the client agrees to all the terms and conditions that have been defined. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our chauffeur services. By booking our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full.
2. Bookings
- All online bookings are subject to Bristol Chauffeur Cars approval. Occasionally errors may occur where online maps & quotes are calculated incorrectly, in the instance where an error is made and a journey is listed at an incorrect price, Bristol Chauffeur Cars maintain the right to refund or cancel orders placed at the incorrect price. If the order has been confirmed and charged to your credit card, Bristol Chauffeur Cars Ltd shall issue a credit in the amount of the incorrect price or where unsuitable issue a full refund.
- Prices and vehicle availability are subject to change without notice.
- All bookings must be made in advance through our booking system.
- Bristol Chauffeur Cars Ltd request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any online bookings if you would like to book a car with less than 24 hours notice – Please call our reservation team at 0117 9059958
- Confirmation of the booking will be sent to the provided email address.
- Any changes to the booking details must be communicated at least 24 hours before the scheduled service.
- Online prices are valid for travelling within the UK only. If you require travelling to Europe, please call our office.
3. Payments
- All payments for our services are processed through Third Party Payment Services.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Value-added tax will be payable at the appropriate rate on all charges.
- All prices are inclusive of VAT.
4. Cancellations
- If the booking is cancelled 24 hours or more before the booking is due to begin, there will be no charge.
- If the booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the booking is due to begin then the job will be charged in full
- Cancellation terms for point A to point B, As directed, wait and return bookings or Event bookings -
- If the booking is cancelled 24 hours or more before the booking is due to begin, there will be no charge.
- If a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the booking is due to begin 100% of the hire will be charged.
5. Waiting Time
- All quotes for journeys collecting from a flight into a UK airport include 45 minutes of complimentary waiting time. All other journeys include 15 minutes of complimentary waiting time. After the complimentary waiting time for all journeys, a hourly charge calculated will be applied to the provided debit/credit card/invoice when the booking is been made. Or ‘We reserve the right to charge to any credit or debit card provided at the time of booking
6. Service Standards
- We commit to providing punctual, professional, and high-quality chauffeur services.
- All our vehicles are regularly maintained, insured, and cleaned to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients. Every endeavour will be made for the hirer to retain the same vehicle and driver for the duration of the hire period, however, the company reserves the right to substitute any other driver or vehicle if the need should arise.
- The driver will drive at reasonable speeds according to his judgement of road/traffic conditions at that time, and shall not be obliged to drive in a manner other than his/her discretion deems appropriate.
- The company accept no responsibility for delays no matter how caused.
- Nobody other than a company employee may drive the company’s vehicles unless those vehicles be the subject of a specific self-drive agreement.
- When a hirer wishes to travel to a specific place, the driver will unless given specific instructions by the company, travel by the route which is, in his/her opinion, the best and most convenient for motoring whether that route is the shortest or not. No allowance will be made to the hirer on the grounds that the route travelled is not the shortest or the quickest.
- A reasonable amount of ordinary passenger luggage is allowed, but if in the driver’s opinion, the amount of luggage is excessive, either by weight or in terms of size, he/she has the right to decline to carry it. The Company accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage caused to any luggage or property carried on the vehicle howsoever such loss or damage is caused.
7. No-Show Policy
- If the customer fails to show up at the designated location and time for which a reservation has been made and a confirmation was sent out, all monies paid will be non-refundable.
8. Child Seats
- Requests for child seats must be made at the time of booking. Only one child seat will be provided free of charge. Additional child seats are charged £20 + VAT per seat. We will always aim to satisfy such requests but failure to do so will not constitute a breach of contract.
- If you wish to use your own child seat you will be responsible for installing it safely and removing it at your destination. Care must also be taken to not damage the vehicle interior with your child’s seat. Otherwise, you will be charged to compensate for this.
9. Liability
- VLC is liable for damage caused by VLC or their vicarious affiliate, agents or subcontractors either intentionally or due to gross negligence. The affiliate, as well as all drivers employed for the travel service, are neither vicarious agents nor subcontractors of VLC. Rather, VLC arranges, for the User, a direct entitlement to carriage over an affiliate. In case of damage caused by simple negligence, VLC is liable only for breach of fundamental contractual obligations and for foreseeable and typical damage. Fundamental contractual obligations are those which, when fulfilled, enable the proper execution of the contract and upon which the User can rely. Limitation of liability does not apply in the context of an express guarantee of condition and quality, in case of intentional harm to life, body, or health, as well as claims under the Product Liability Act.
- Bristol Chauffeur Cars shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages or any loss of profits, revenue, or data arising out of the use of our services.
- Our total liability for any direct loss or damage arising out of the use of our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the services.
